We invite you to join us on June 20, 2026 as Derry honors 250 years of American history through food, culture, music, and community.

As part of Derry’s America 250 Ethnic Food Festival, the Friends of the Gem Theater Main Stage will feature a full lineup of live music, cultural performances, and high-energy entertainment throughout the day. Located on East Third Street in Derry, PA, this stage brings together local talent, regional favorites, and classic American genres that reflect the cultural diversity of our community.
Kick off the festival with the high-energy sound of Mon Valley Push, one of Western Pennsylvania’s most beloved polka party bands. Their upbeat accordion-driven music brings a joyful ethnic flavor that connects perfectly with the festival’s heritage theme.
Enjoy the roots-inspired, organic sound of Free Shelter, a newly formed trio blending acoustic folk, Americana, and singer-songwriter influences. Their music fits naturally into the historic character of East 3rd Street, tying tradition to modern storytelling.
Closing out the evening, Woodland Twang brings a dynamic mix of country, bluegrass, and Appalachian-influenced string music. Their lively show is a perfect finale for a festival celebrating the spirit of the American experience.
